Stargazing in Nevada

The star of Bethlehem was visible this week for the first time in nearly 800 years.

The “star” is made up when the planets Jupiter and Saturn align just right to appear as a single very bright star. This is the star that the wisemen followed that famous night on Christmas Eve to find the stable where Jesus was born.

Here’s a short 30 second time lapse video below that was taken over the course of a few hours and below that is a photo of the Star of Bethlehem.
