While working in Austin, my co-worker (who is a local) and I went to a burger place he highly recommended called Hopdoddy Burger Bar.

I was expecting just another burger joint like Whataburger or the like. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Hopdodddy Burger Bar is a really nice place. It has a hip new decor with great ambiance and a bar.

To order, you walk up to a window, place your order, grab your drink and find a table where you wait in great anticipation for your burger extravaganza.

Today I ordered the Prime Time Burger which consisted of Texas Akaushi Beef , Brie Cheese, Truffle Aioli, Arugula, Caramelized Onions and Steak Sauce.

This was truly one of THE best burgers I’ve had. Highly recommend Hopdoddy Burger Bar. Give them a try sometime if you find yourself in Austin.
